You can perfect pixels all you want in design tools but at the end of the day they're just pictures.

They can serve as references but the real iteration happens in code because you're finessing the actual thing—not just a replica.

Users don’t care about your tech stack or what your code looks like. It's invisible to them. In an increasingly saturated marketplace, good design is and will always be the differentiator.

These days I feel like I'm more of an editor of code rather than the author responsible for writing every line. It frees me up to put more focus on things that the end user sees and experiences such as the UX, UI, and interaction design. Users don’t care about your tech stack.

I'm grateful for my career so far as an Software Engineer because to be useful with AI, you still need to know how to code well enough to understand the difference between good code and bad code, and to know how to debug issues that come up.

Say what you want about AI, but it takes shit I don't want to do which is what AI is intended for—to bridge the gap between idea and execution.

I hate writing code, but I love building stuff.

Lately I’ve been uploading my 1st draft of Figma screens into v0 and it’s getting pretty accurate already within a few months.

It’s exciting to think about how it’ll be 6 months - 1 year from now.

I need some kind of stimulant or it's not happening. Caffeine is my drug of choice for now and I can't live without it
