We've also seen instances of detainees phones being sold on second hand markets, stories like this make you wonder how many ICE agents have skimmers and RFID cloning devices in their pockets.
DHS must be divided into original agencies & institutions w/ distinct missions, limits, regulations, & protections for our rights. The kneejerk DHS experiment in response to 9/11 enabled destruction of human rights on a scale not seen since WWII internments, the trail of tears, and slavery.
I agree - DHS was originally created to break down communication barriers between institutions and agencies, but it was really a sledgehammer used to push a thumbtack.

Police treat AI facial recognition like it's as definitive as fingerprints or DNA, which is completely false. Unlike fingerprints or DNA, we all have several facial doppelgangers, & if you hear otherwise you are likely talking to someone who makes sales to the Prison industrial complex for a living.
IN all coming civil suit false arrest cases like this it's VERY important to sue the AI company as well as the police department, and do that every time.

That would mean this protest was THIRTY TIMES AS LARGE AS THE TEA PARTY PROTEST which we were told, over and over again, was a massively important sign that US politics had shifted dramatically to the right
