My #weekendread is quite the tome. It's a defense of Enlightenment ideals that's deep and approachable. Pinker supports his arguments with statistical evidence and insights from great philosophers, tackling our tendency toward unwarranted pessimism. Highly recommended.

My #weekendread was an intro about #AI. For detractors, Between You and AI is useful. It provides a practical explanation of not just artificial intelligence, but it encourages exploration and learning that is vital for people and businesses to embrace. It's quite rosy, though.

Happy New Year! A restful time meant I just went through this #weekendread all the way. Good quotes, a fair number of incorrect stories (research!), and lots of useful ideas. Stoicism is handy in the modern world, but let's never forget the value of heart.

My #weekendread was Abundance, a passable book that compiles a lot of ideas that the authors talked about elsewhere. The criticism of the extremes of both sides is solid, but there's not a lot of coherence throughout.

For example, in this case this product used AI assisted art but the rest of the game was all human composed. We need to call things out when they are AI composed because we do analysis on web sites so people are aware. Thus, we need the badge to label work that you should be careful about trusting.
It’s both a warning and for content that is multi-origin. You can build a badge bar if you’ve used AI for one component (like infographics).
