True, here in Australia we are seeing it play out in the Farrer by-election. Gina Rinehart is the wealthy puppeteer, Poor Lean & Barnacle along with their candidate David Farley the puppets. They want you to believe they are different from the duopoly that Gina has been playing with for decades.

I disagree, making plant food look & taste like meat is saying, meat is preferred. And I believe that plant only diet is also the best option for environmental sustainability. Animal agriculture is a massive drain on resources, land ,water etc. And cruelty in factory farming.

Plant-based meat alternatives? There are literally 100s of edible plants & 1,000s of recipes for Plant only meals. If you need your food to look or taste like meat, are you really Vegan?

I think we all know that the only threat to our sovereignty (Australian Sovereignty) is the US. The UK have been arms length even though we are still attached. China has built trade (both ways) without resorting to threats. Indonesia treat us as equals. Only the US threaten us.

I was highlighting the treatment of Indigenous Veterans in Australia. They were discriminated against because they were not equal citizens. Our military welcomed them as canon fodder, post war they were treated differently.
Australia also has a history of discarding veterans that don't fit the mold. Aboriginal Veterans from WWI and WWII were not included in soldier settlement programs, not permitted to join RSL clubs etc.

The 'immigrants don't fit our culture' is a loop, because, except for the 3-4% that are indigenous, Australians are immigrants or descended from immigrants. It's not a new trope, Irish, German, Chinese, and others have all been vilified as a threat to our culture. ANGUS! they are our culture.
