if it's driving down prices in various fields or replacing jobs (IE: automated driving, how that has impacted drivers fairs or livelihoods) It will negatively impact the economy. People will not have enough money/livable wage nor have time for their friends/family.

Devastating news. We need some sort of creative alliance for our communities - something where we can gain greater security in this capitalist system. The use of automation/Ai long term will negatively impact local economies on top of the individual cost. Exhausted by this corporate greed.

Break up the monopolies, tax the wealthy at a higher rate. After all, the big corporations that run these platforms and create these algorithms are involved in government. They have their own ulterior motives and a hell of a lot of influence which ultimately feeds into the culture.

First, I am, by no means an expert. Sure, we could improve our media literacy on an individual basis. That is a part of it however, given the power imbalance within this capitalist system I'd hardly say it was half. I'd change the algorithm first, apply appropriate guardrails/laws, an ethics board
