I just saw Dirty Shame at a theatre here in Seattle. The audience was so into it. And as you say, it is practically a feel-good farce, it is so in love with its apostles (but also doesn’t demonize the neuters really either). I remember people not liking it and wow, I enjoyed it so much!

Really want to watch darkside. Such a creepy theme / opening. I’ve toyed with getting the DVD but haven’t.

Excited for this. I love Z and Rpatts and Borglis films have been great. Sick of myself is….wow. And Dream Scenario had some amazing uncomfy moments! (It’s good! I just am not a huge Cage fan).

It impossible to say if the cast was weak bc we can’t see it but there’s always recasting after pilots; it’s not unheard of.

Also, Zhao likely wouldn’t direct many episodes so a lot of the “negatives” seem forced.

This structure with Buffy sounds fine! Give the new cast a moment to breathe and then the second or third likely would have been 100% Buffy, catching up on how she has been , etc. we already hVe the old series, I don’t need her to be the main focus.
