New restaurant selected for Minneapolis space soon-to-be vacated by Owamni The James Beard Award-winning Owamni is moving from the Water Works Pavilion to the Guthrie Theatre.

We were very excited to unanimously approve the lease for Arch and River starting this summer, in the Water Works building. I hope this becomes a neighborhood staple- be sure to try it out when they open!

Again, the here are so many needs across our city that could be massively helped by $40 million. Build housing. Invest in food security. Grant rental assistance. Rebuild critical and failing infrastructure.

The MPD budget has ballooned over the past decade and we are simply not seeing results.

You know what improves public safety, investing in youth!

$40 million could be spent in a myriad of ways in our city to effectuate better outcomes than this training facility. A massive investment in public housing would help our city’s outcomes for low- and no-income families. Investment in free childcare and elder care. The ideas are so numerous.
