Our penultimate rail trip. An LNER Class 800 IEP, one of my absolute favourites. An expensive, but simply gorgeous train.

Back in London, just enough time to sneak in a pint at the lovely Queen's Head near KGX. Worth the 8-10 minute walk

Just been corrected in the Misfit Bar in Berlin about saying "Danke" when paying for drinks. It means "keep the change". Awkward when you're handing over a โ‚ฌ50 ๐Ÿ˜… Just pay and don't say anything.

It didn't take us 3 days, but we are in Berlin, having arrived at the โ‚ฌ1bn Hauptbahnhof. Fun fact, completed in 2006 for the world cup, the platform coverings for long distance train are 80m short of plans, so first class passengers aren't protected from the rain ๐Ÿคญ

Well, when you're travelling premium, it seems rude not to ...

... (bro tip, never skim and not book at least Eurostar Plus, if you can afford to go to Europe pay the extra for a decent seat).
