Look, I knew this was going to be a WEEK. But I did not expect that it would start on Monday.

It's been over four years since I started working here, and I still can't get used to people mistaking me for a kid when I pick up the phone. WHAT KIND OF SCHOOL LETS KIDS PICK UP PHONES, FFS?! I mean, fine, I get it, my voice is weird, but COME ON, HAVE SOME COMMON SENSE!

On one hand, I'm going to pay a shitload of money for a pair of sunglasses. On the other hand, it's going to look fucking awesome. But at least most of it I pay with my birthday money so there is that, too.

Pretty much, yeah. He was part of the inner circle, his ex wife was part of a couple of scandals and eventually left politics due to it. He came forward after one of those and turned against Orbรกn and FIDESZ. We'll see how many of his promises he can keep and whether he'll bring actual changes.

LOL, wish I could take credit. Although, to be fair, I probably wouldn't have choosen this guy. Then again, we don't really have a great selection atm, so we'll see how he does. At least there is some change, so that's something.

Music Monday: Forradalom byย Kozmosz Timy's pick this week for Music Monday is Forradalom by Kozmosz.

My pick this week for #MusicMonday is Forradalom by Kozmosz.

You won't understand any of the lyrics, but I think what happened in Hungary yesterday was because most of us felt like we needed a revolution to get us out of the funk a last.

And hey, the world will finally learn what we call ourselves. "magyar" means Hungarian ๐Ÿ˜†

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of him, but after the past 16 years, *almost* anything is better. Hopefully this will bring the changes we need.

One of the reasons I hesitated to move back into the building in which I grew up was that it sucks to get home at night. And by sucks, I mean way more walking than I'd like after a concert. IF I don't catch the last local bus. Not that I stay out a lot these days, but still.

Thank you! Well... I wasn't planning to get to the first line. Then found myself in the first line. Whoops. No complaints tho. Yet, lol.

This week kinda sucked on many levels. And i don't really feel like going out, but I have a concert ticket to see my two favourite Hungarian bands, so I got my ass out. Maybe getting some of the tension out is what I need. Then we can wait and see how the election will go tomorrow...

โœจ๐Ÿ–‹๏ธMARCH๐Ÿ–‹๏ธโœจ

The good news is, I wrote over 2K in March. The bad new is that all those words went into a short story... I'm not sure yet what's going to happen to it, but we'll see.
Current wordcount: 23.834. I still only have 3 chapters to finish to be done with part 1! New deadline is end of May.

The cover of The Puppet Show by M.W. Craven. The cover imitates burning wood and the title is made to look like it's being burned into the pitch black wood.

Based on the hype, I was prepared to get my mind blown. While I did like the (audio)book, and probably will continue with the series, it really wasn't as outstanding as it promised. I saw at least one plot twist coming, but again, it's a decent read.

Spring time, baby! I don't think I'll get a lot of reading done this month, but hey, at least the weather is getting nice.

The cover of Dissolution by C. J. Sansom. It's a red cover, similar to very old books, and the title is written with a very ornate initial D.

I don't even know how many times I've read this book at this point. I needed something familiar and good so I turned to the audiobook of the first book of the Shardlake series, which I can't recommend highly enough.

The cover of The Instrumentalist by Harriet Constable. It has a painting quality to the image. It has a blue background with white dots, the shape of a violin in which we see a scene from Venice. A young lady is standing in the middle of a bridge above a canal, playing her violin.

15. THE INSTRUMENTALIST by Harriett Constable - 2๐Ÿ‘‘

This is a very fictionalised story of Anna Maria della Pieta's life, a famous violinist in the early 18th century. I couldn't stand any of the characters, and I was also bored by the end. I don't know, I probably had too high expectations.

The cover of Never After by Alexis Hall. It has an ornate background and a well dressed man with his left profile, looking down. He is wearing a coat, a cravat and a hat. He has almost shoulder length wavy brown hair.

14. NEVER AFTER by Alexis Hall - 5๐Ÿ‘‘

This is a historical fiction/MM romance with pretty dark themes and a prose I could kill for. The best I read by Alexis yet.

I've been off work since last Thursday. I was planning to get some writing done, but of course, as I suspected, there was no writing done. I got some other things done, though, so I was still productive-ish.
