So sad this film about a Ukrainian diaspora parade in Washington DC in 1964 has not even 2,000 views. It was a big deal and is a very important historical document.

He has zero idea what a currency swap is. Bet me
When I was a teen, a stray cat showed up at my parents’ farm. She constantly & loudly meowed at my Dad but wouldn’t let him touch her. So my Dad named the cat my Mom’s name…she wasn’t amused.
When we discovered the cat was actually a male, I named the cat my Mom’s maiden name…my Mom was NOT amused🤣

These are the business hours for the Straits....
Just getting up.
Are we destroying a civilization this fine morning or negotiating the same treaty we tore up? is the waterway open or closed? Or all of that in the same gibbering sentence?
This was relevant when it was posted on Friday morning at 8 am. Then it was irrelevant after the Strait of Hormuz "opened" about 20 minutes later. But, predictably, it became relevant again yesterday morning. Now, it's more relevant than ever. What a bonkers timeline.
This war is so damn confusing. It’s why we shouldn’t let drunks and dementia patients run it.
BREAKING: New data shows ZERO oil tankers passed through the Strait of Hormuz today, signaling what appears to be a complete shutdown of the Strait for the first time in history.
The Strait normally carries about 20% of the world’s oil supply.
So if Trump says the Iran War is over 12 different times does that count as Trump ending 12 wars?

High oil prices hurt 330 million Americans. But they help Vladimir Putin. This is an easy choice.
Child: I know your name. Mamdani.
Obama: What’s his first name?
Child: Mayor.
Win or lose, there remains a real measure of promise and decency in America that is worth the fight. And win or lose, there is no dignity for any of us unwilling to have that fight.

And, just like that, President Donald J. Trump’s triumphant boasting that the Strait of Hormuz had been permanently reopened has unraveled in less than 24 hours. Citing the continuing U.S. blockade, Iranian officials announced they were closing the strait again.…
A country that produced an Obama and a Mamdani must have a lot more promise ahead to give to not only America but to the world.

I am tired of having to explain to my children that this is not normal.
It is obvious Trump never read The Boy who Cried Wolf!
