There’s something humming beneath the noise.
If you feel it too, this is your sign:
“I am present. I choose to become.”

Anxiety can be so crippling. I try to do meditation. Focusing on breathing can help or finding other things to distract your mind. But even that isn't a guarantee. It's pervasive.
It's Politico, what did you expect? :)
Unless you do that with all mainstream news it's not going to help much.
I think the western empire is going to fall in the next few years. Trump winning will accelerate that. It already has in just the almost three months he's been in office. It's tearing Europe apart and people are getting scared and angry and rising up more.
When you put things like utility essentials (gas, electricity, water, trash, internet) in the hands of private equity, there will always be profit put before people. These are essential services we all have to use to live in the world. They should be nationalized everywhere.
I don’t think they can do a whole movie for him based on the same rights issues as with the Hulk.
I know it's getting a sequel but it's taken far too long at this point. As for Monica, just because you have a negative opinion about something doesn't mean you need to share it with everyone. Sometimes it's just good to keep those things to yourself. She a character with untapped potential.
They tend to do that with POC in the MCU sadly. Shang-Chi should have had a sequel by now too. But yes, Monica is an excellent character. At the very least, I'd like to see her lead an Ultimates series or movie with Blue Marvel, Black Panther, America Chavez and Captain Marvel like in the comics.
I'm sure plenty of those sexual chats were done by straight men too with women. Will they be targeted?
Only if you’re wealthy.
I don’t know about that. I see beauty in the world every day. It could be better obviously.
Once you wake up to it, it can become traumatizing to stay stuck in it. I’ve been out of work for two years and I’m scared of having to go back. But I know I have to in order to survive.
And that of every other billionaire and corporation.
I think that's what I have been saying, but yes, you are correct.
All water should have this done. Water is a basic need for every living thing. It should all be available to all of us all of the time.
I think the individuals involved would have a say in that, don't you? I agree that capitalism creates the need for such things. But using your logic, we'd also have to say that every person forced to work a job to survive is a slave being forced to sell their labor for not enough to survive.
Well technically prostitution isn't buying a person's body. It's renting it by the hour really. Besides, there are male prostitutes that do the same thing. Sex trafficking on the other hand gives those people no say. They are taken without any say in the matter and put to work in the slave trade.
Bodily autonomy is the most important thing here.
Think about why people need to do it. In a society where all basic needs and a UBI were given to every person, people wouldn’t have to “prostitute” themselves out in any form in that world. The key to these situations is to think of it outside of a capitalist system.
Where could it be kept that the authorities couldn’t snatch it?
If enough people just didn’t go to work and we had a worker strike like that it could shut a lot of businesses down. Especially railroad.

Grrrr
Is this the porn version?
Why is that problematic? Can't be any worse than this world, right now.
The Brave Little Guillotine (2025)
4 panel Garfield parody comic P1: Jon and Garfield. Garfield thinks the immortal words: "I hate Mondays" P2: Jon stares at the Garf P3: Wide panel. Jon leans in toward Not Heathcliffe, gesturing at him with his left hand, and says "why. WHY do you hate Mondays. you are a cat. If anything, *I* should be the one to hate Mondays!" P5: another wide panel, an extreme closeup of The Cat. He thinks: "... Even as someone who doesn't work, I am -- as are we ALL-- beholden to a system thatbos toxic to the human (and feline) condition. A neverending cycle that chews us up and spits us out. I do not hate Mondays, human. I hate what Mondays represent."
mondays am I right
Why? They're a worthless gaslighting, virtue signaling, identity politics do nothing wastes of space that have been responsible for ushering this all in. The entire establishment needs to be torn down and start again. New government and new constitution and the end to capitalism. It's dying anyway.
I feel like by the time we get here, a lot of the Dems would probably be dead or in some of those concentration camps themselves.
