Illuminating life processes by vibrational probes - Nature Methods
This Review introduces sensitive and multiplexable chemical probes that have transformed vibrational imaging methods such as Raman microscopy beyond label-free imaging.
The second Review, from Wei Min and colleagues, introduces probes for Raman microscopy and describes how probes can extend the benefits of technology that has traditionally been considered βlabel-freeβ.

Single colored tulips fields that appear orange my at closer look consist of a diversity of red, yellow and pink tulips. In the back we see windmills in blue. A heading says: "Biology is not homogeneous. Study the heterogeneous processes with the C-Trap!"
π·π·π· Looking at the flowering tulip fields, we biologists realize the heterogeneity in all things. Averaging data can mask vital details, but C-Trapβs single-molecule measurements reveal every unique interaction. Capture the full spectrum of molecular dynamics!
