Watching indian devs bringing our culture to the forefront via games is honestly a breath of fresh air. theres not enough games that delve into indian myth/epics, and there are some interesting stories that are worth exploring, not just ancient egyptian/greek stuff for example.
they'll release it on console first and a year later on pc. they did that with gta 5, and milked tf out of it, prolly the same this time. people will buy it. the mp stuff tho no idea what they're guna do with that
you're in for a trip. A couple other cage movies that i watched that were an absolute trip include "Mandy", "Willy's Wonderland" and "Pig". honorable mention to arcadian, the alien design was pretty cool.
Ultimately i make sure i carefully curate who i follow/what i see on all my social platforms and have labels for work related stuff vs personal interests which keeps my feed for the most part clean, but sometimes things do leak through, and it just makes me disappointed in the state of things.
im not talking about the left or right parties here, im talking about the outright extremes on both scales that have the most outlandish views, opinions and ideas that they arent afraid to spread like wildfire and people jumping on that bandwagon of hate, which just keeps that whole cycle going.
I understand that the algorithm for all these apps are also designed to keep people glued to the screen/app, so they dont help matters at all since they dont curate the content so long as people are consuming the product/app, which has directly contributed to these extreme videos/opinions/comments.
a global regression of humanity, civilization and society. It's become so common to see reels on instagram full of racist, sexist, homophobic, fascist and other types of hate speech being spoken like its part and parcel of normal everyday life it genuinely blows my mind.
or that we're this comfortable giving people like that any sort of platform to continue to spew their vitriol openly across all channels for more people to watch/listen. all it does is spread that hatred further, influencing people who dont know how to think for themselves and perpetuating
For the most part i avoid social media despite ironically working in the industry that has SM front and center, but scrolling through the internet/yt etc, i dont know what i find more weird/scarier- the people that are openly proclaiming their pride on being fascists, wearing their hatred as a pin

41 hours to beat clair obscur (did 99% of the things in the game, got a little antsy cuz i wanted to finish the game and see where story goes lol), fucking incredible game, one of THE BEST games ive ever played, and this is from someone who doesnt like/play alot of turn based games.
