@fsifall.bsky.social and I finally started God Eater 3. Con: Camera Rotation Sensitivity too fast. Pros: Lobby shows Character Portraits which were blank in GE1 and GE2. Can Air Devour like in GE1 to get Burst Bullets. We're optimistic about GE3, and hopefully fillers are more spread out.

@fsifall.bsky.social and I finally finished Padded Filler 2 I mean God Eater 2. It's a meh from us, we still like the first game GE1:R better. Just showing off the end game unlockable NPC Allies you can bring along in Aragami Fights.

Always liked Lindow in GE1, glad to have him back for in GE2. He shows up kind of late, after the base credits.

GE1 Player Character is defaulted to Male "Yuu Kannagi" in GE2, so GE2 could have used that; he was the captain after Lindow, and the old friend Soma mentions.

AI Anu focuses on offensive gunplay though when IRL Anu mixes melee and gunplay and does a lot more support; i.e. gives team Burst Shots, making us stronger. GE1 did this better: AI knew how to support better in GE1.

You can bring your friends even if they're offline in God Eater and 2; as long as each other's "Card Data Info" is updated. Once you've done that, you can bring each other for the AI to control and the AI will try to emulate your friend's playstyle. Anu is my friend I brought in.

We were bored progressing-farming the story missions in God Eater 2 and were hoping something would happen - and it did. Dr. Rachel turned off the God Eater Unmanned Soldiers meant for the red rain and Romeo paid the price for it.
