That’s the sickening part: everybody knows it.
Those covering for him think they’re avoiding negative consequences by toeing the line. What have they been threatened with? I cannot believe it’s just that they’re afraid of losing their office.

This is especially infuriating knowing that big corporations and billionaires don’t pay taxes but take their fair share of everything.

I have heard from democratic lawmakers that their Republican counterparts are privately opposed to all the damage the GOP is doing at every level. Wish they’d show us. Wish they’d be brave enough to break from their overlord. The People are seeking strong, principled leaders!
