‘It signifies renewal’: recipients of Sycamore Gap saplings announced ‘Trees of hope’ will be planted across the UK, including at a prison and a children’s hospital, in National Trust scheme

'It is a reminder that it is possible to heal, even after we have been cut down.' Today the National Trust gave away 49 saplings grown from Sycamore Gap Tree seeds to communities - including an MND centre and a gardening project near Grenfell Tower.
