i like the inside

Two wheel-thrown ceramic mugs. The outsides are black with multicolored red, yellow, and blue stars and confetti shapes, and the handles are also in spiraling confetti shapes. The mug on the left is upright and the handle is red. We can see a little bit of the inside which is pale purple and green and blue. The mug on the right has a blue handle, and is laying on its side so we can see the bottom with my signature on it: a smiling face with "Rachel" spelled out in the shape of the hair, stamped in black against a multicolored background. The mugs are laid out on a pink and white gingham cloth with multicolored star-shaped beads scattered around.

Both mugs upright, at a slightly higher angle so we can see more of the inside. The insides are whitish pale green with purple and blue drips.

On the outside there are shuǐ-mò or sumi-e styled black plum branches with red flowers painted on with underglaze, against the speckled tan clay body. The inside has grayish glaze on top dripping into maroon in the middle.
