A dear friend of mine wrote a book. If you are into vampire novels, this is right up your alley. It is called, Monster: Memior of a Vampire by Josephine Napiore. It is The Outsiders meets The Lost Boys. I enjoyed it very much. #booksky

I make beaded jewelry. Most of my beads are Chinese made some from Austria, some from the Czech Republic, some from Japan. I don't think I have ever purchased an American made bead.

Debuting these pocket watch spiders at a steampunk event this weekend.
There is a coyote in my back yard. I live within the city limits of St. Paul, MN. This is not the first time or even the second time they coyote has visited. We have cultivated a welcoming space for wild life, but mostly for birds and bunnies. It is cool the coyote also feels safe here.
This week, I finally downloaded the Libby app and am listening to a book while I work in my studio. I was having a tough time finding the time to sit and read, so this is great.
I went too. I picked up some beads to bolster my firewall (I bought most of my critical beads back in January on a doorbuster when they first announced that second bankruptcy). I think I have enough to carry me through while I look for long term replacements to some of my favorite creations.
My husband and I had tuna sandwiches on whole wheat with pie and coffee for lunch.
Happy Twin Peaks Day!
My husband built me a studio space in our basement. I love it.
I keep telling my friends and family that something like this needs to happen. What did Trump do for 4 years while Biden was President? He declared his candidacy and held rallies, posted incessantly, and grabbed at all the attention he could to stay relevant.
We need a quarterback.
There is just so much to keep up on. I can't do everything, so I'm going to focus on less. I am an election judge in Minnesota. Election integrity is something I can help protect. I am an Arts Advocate. This is something I can continue to do. I grew up on a farm. Rural people are people I can reach.
Last year, I did shingles #1, tetanus, and flu in one go....that was a mistake.
One of mine is closing. The other is open. I sit midway between Woodbury and Maplewood.
New guitar case stickers have arrived!
I just started making indoor plant stakes and I am obsessed.
Emerald green spider necklace and matching earrings.

I now have a studio in the basement and I'm loving it. I made these yesterday.
That sounds terrifying.
I just finished up a theatre sound design for a play about the holocaust. I had been compartmentalizing my feelings so hard all week. This morning, I just can't stop crying.
Ok, I haven't been playing guitar for very long, but I just played an entire verse of Swallow Song (Joan Baez version) without looking at my chord changes. Muscle memory for the win. Also, for further bragging, I'm finger picking it (I really cannot strum to save my life).
You could ramble in a word doc, screenshot it, and then post it as a picture.
One of my newest creations. I spent a lot of time finding just the right pieces. I just love the shape.
Every February, I start my annual rematch of Twin Peaks. There is always pie and coffee. Maybe this time I will add writing to the activities list.
This was the first ornate spider I made. Still one of my favorites.
Doing a craft show in North Branch MN, today. This is supposed to be a busy show. I'm nervous.
I created a new spider yesterday. I love the Victorian feel of this one.
I am contemplating a rewatch of The West Wing.
3 beaded spiders in golden amber colors. The largest hangs from an ornament hanger. 2 smaller ones sit in the foreground.
Fall vibes
I just got here too!
