I don't know how many times we will be told by the legacy media that Trump is moderating or backing off only to then see he is worse than ever. He is an authoritarian. He enjoys the cruelty. And the first thing he had Pam Bondi do after the shooting was to try to leverage it to get the voter files.

I spent the morning at the San Antonio immigration court. It’s out of control.

Crawling with ICE - arresting legal immigrants showing up for court appearances.

I asked one officer who they are prioritizing. His answer: everyone.

It's interesting that Russia withdrew all of its personnel from Venezuela exactly 14 days before Trump's invasion. China didn't withdraw their personnel. Cuba didn't withdraw theirs. Just Russia.

It is almost as if someone called Putin to warn him what's up as part of a quid pro quo.

Not almost.

They are almost completely incompetent at anything other than creating chaos. They have been signaling for weeks that this was coming so I was not surprised, disappointed but not surprised. I can really only hope that we can right this listing ship in the mid-terms.

Whooof. I am having such mixed feelings about the whole situation in Venezuela. My son's co-worker is from there and his family is guardedly happy because Maduro is bad, Trump level bad. So I'm ok with that part, not okay with the just doing it without Congress part. How do you feel about all this?
