Thank you! I am obsessed, just finished my 2nd pair. The best part: I can (briefly) go outside in my Crocs wearing these and not feel the cold AT ALL! My regular socks can’t do that! 😄

The foot part of the sock looks too large and loose for the ribbing on top, which goes over 3 inches above the ankle.

Crocheting a second pair of slipper socks, because fuck it’s cold! These look a little funny, but feel PERFECT on the foot.

I continue to tweak my improvised pattern. I will end up with the most comfortable footwear mutants!

Me too! Last year in the winter and spring we had the longest stretch with no sunshine. I thought I was doing to die… I can tolerate SOME cold, but not no sunshine. 😟

54 days, 22 hours. I just had to look it up, this weather is just hostile!

Thank you! There are no “personal touches” on the pattern, because I made up this pattern on the fly, therefore it’s exclusively my personal creation! 😃 The weight of the yarn is super fine, but I tripled it up.

Craving coziness in my life, I crocheted myself some slipper-socks. The pattern is called “Wings”, because I winged it. I never learned how to #crochet a proper heel, so it’s my rendition of it. Now to find a darning needle…
