Also, Drew Carter is really, really good. I am a Grande fan so I was a tad skeptical when they brought Drew in but he works so well with Scal. Seriously, you would think this is year 10 of that tandem.

Obviously I'm a big Scal fan, Grady has awesome energy, and I have always liked Austin Rivers (big fan of Off-Guard). It's like a good stew though, takes time for the ingredients to simmer and meld.

Also, three man teams are really hard to pull off. Especially if a peraon is not used to working in one. NBA can't just throw these teams together and expect magic, even if the individual components are great.

There are a lot of Boston fans that don't like Scal, too. They want Tommy Heinson but Scal ain't wired like that. He's objective and if the refs got the call right against BOS he'll say it. Celts fan want Scal to scream bloody murder on every call that goes against BOS.

Three person announcing teams don't work. NBA got lucky with the Breen/JVG/Jackson team and now think that is the formula. SVG has been much improved going to the 2 person team.

Disclosure: I'm a Scal fan but I get he's not for everyone. Give him a try on the Celts broadcast with Drew Carter.

NBA refs are doing everything in their power to ruin these playoffs. But, so far, the players and coaches have persevered to have delivered some awesome hoops.

Note: I try not to pick on refs, it's a really hard job, but the whistles are dragging these playoffs down.

That game ruled. It's funny, CJ missing those two free throws was like a blessing in disguise because the Knicks didn't set up for a good play from it. If he had made one or two instead this game might be in OT rn
