us creative types are our own worst enemies, huh. when i feel down about my art i try to remember that it still captivates an audience and inspires others to create. doesn't automatically kill the imposter syndrome, but it does help keep me grounded

at this point "I don't want to have to restart on another platform" is a bullshit excuse, too. it isn't that hard, it's not impossible. if your audience truly admires your work, they'll follow you practically anywhere. i want every artist to get the hell off twitter for good
