Northern West Virginia is flooding. People are hurting — and mutual aid is stepping in where the government won’t.
If you can give, give. If you can share, share.

Where do we go from here?
Is there still a path to peace?
Or is the only way out of this mess through it?

I try to stay hopeful.
America’s been through dark chapters before… and most of us still believe in progress, in compassion, in each other.
But it’s the loud minority — the ones fueled by hate — who keep getting the mic.

Hard to watch what’s unfolding in LA.
Trump sent in the National Guard before local officials requested it — and now violence is erupting.
If escalation was the goal, it looks like it worked.

They’re not preserving anything.
They’re erasing history.
They’re not protecting families.
They’re failing them.
This ain’t leadership.
West Virginians — and all of us — deserve better.

This kind of performative politics leads to cold, stagnant, mean policy — the kind that hurts families, kids, workers, veterans.
And while folks are struggling, these people are busy renaming planes so they don’t have to see “Harvey Milk”… or scrubbing the Enola Gay out of textbooks.
But sure — we’re just supposed to trust them when they say Medicaid won’t be cut. SNAP is safe.
How the hell would you know?
If you’re not reading the bills, you’re not protecting anybody. Period.
Now?
— An HHS Secretary who doesn’t know what habeas corpus is.
— An Education Secretary who can’t do basic division.
— Marjorie Taylor Greene voting on bills without realizing they ban states from regulating AI for 10 years.
— A GOP Rep admitting he didn’t know what was in Trump’s tax bill.
It used to mean something to be a public servant.
You didn’t have to agree with someone’s politics to know they came prepared.
They understood the Constitution.
They read the damn bills.
They took the job seriously.
