I'd recommend progressing through the star chart to unlock more planets, which have different resources to make weapons. Also, going through the story will eventually unlock more major content and rewards to keep! Enjoy, new Tenno!

I like randomizing everything on monkey 64 too (shuffle climb/swinging/diving/yada and alllll their movesets). Usually all my 201 Golden Bananas are junk since I can access all the levels except one until I unlock diving lmao.

I still need to finish the C side of Celeste's maps. Think the only rando I got on my list I mess around with is a Hat in Time. But that's just easy street (minus Seal the Deal dlc) compared to DK64 or SA2's randos. We gotta archipelago sometime.

Remake: Tony Hawk's Underground is a skateboarder's rags to riches story with a great vibe and amped up the character customization. Would love to see it remade as a relic of the early 2000s skateboard culture.
Overlooked: Rocket had a good physics engine for 64 and Sucker Punch's earliest title.

Overhated: Werehog stages aren't bad. It's the oversaturation of the battle music, lmao.
Underrated: Barely talked about, never ported, Shaolin Monks is a good memory to old MK fans like me.
Overrated: I guess Terraria? I like the shit out of it, and it's still pretty big.

Art Style: I'm makin a big ass animation based on PT's artstyle, lmao.
Personal Impact: I got the Genesis when I was a kid. First two games I got was not only Sonic 2, BUT Sonic & Knuckles too. That lock on shit was magical.
Combat: I like fucking shit up as a Belmont in beat em up mode.

Favorite Game: DKC2 is the first thing I'll think of when I want to go back to doing Super Nintendo games. The atmosphere from the galleon to the lost world combined with a pirate adventure makes it a wonderful ass game.
Best Story: Velvet's story from start to end will forever be burned into me.
