Too sleep to appreciate the view, but @matthewslater.bsky.social is recovering from a very 🤞 successful surgery.

The surgical oncologist said it went as expected - everything cleaned up and only the section of colon and appendix needed to be removed. I should be able to see him (groggy AF) soon.

And the chemo is working! 🙌

Best visit to Times Square maybe ever. Democracy is a good idea.

Back from the Mayan Riviera in time for a (one-day-delayed) #chemo treatment. #11: ONE LOUDER! (actually, 10% less because of my low platelet count). Vacation was *very* relaxing and badly needed.

CT scan showed disease stability. Not as good as reduction, but not bad either. I'll take it.
