Watched this one on Sundays as well! Had most or all the figures. Still remember that big part of the theme song.

"YOU'RE COULDA F***ED HIM WITH THAT!" Dude...I was drinking Mountain Dew...

I generally don't give a rip about the awards, but I do like the recognition, and Amy Madigan winning is good in my book (I say, having seen absolutely none of any of these.)

Ah, well, we all have one of those.

And my sympathies on doggo crossing the rainbow bridge. I still miss my big guy Worf and it's been...15 years maybe? So many good times...I was wondering thooooo...wasn't uh...wasn't Jason offering a service for that, or was that just for Blake's dogs?

I had these suckers! Always enjoyed when the back had news stories or wild tales or whatever those were. Also collected the Turtle cards, Dick Tracy, Turtle movie, WCW, handful of others. Oddest came from a kid in my neighborhood...sold Gulf War trading cards. I don't know why I wanted those.

I need to hear this too.

I could actually make this worse, but I'll leave it there. :)

I've seen an episode of Young Indiana Jones. Does that help?

I'd better not tell Derek I still haven't seen any of the Indiana Jones movies...oops, typed the quiet part...

@jksub20.bsky.social I think I lost your number. I don't really need it to call you often, but I want to make this the ringtone in case you ever call me.

GaF was a big deal for me early on. I had every song memorized from the first bunch of episodes.

NGL, posted this pic because "fornicating on antique furniture" made me think of Jason.

Oh Derek...Garfield goes oh so much deeper.
Garfield guides us to a life beyond the collapse of this society.
Also, this youtu.be/NAh9oLs67Cw?... brings clarity to the heavenly glory of Garfield.

Also: I knew the first theme best from when the show started. Heard the second one, third one was new.

Google thinks I'm asking about the time Mr. Belvidere sat on his and they had to stop shooting for the day.

That is a good post. I'm upset I didn't remember it

This is also why I have dedicated myself to a life of entertaining chaos.

I'm learning that when it comes to white ladies, Jason and I have similar tastes. Amy Sedaris, now Dixie.

I hate that schedule. But then, I still don't like the interleague play.

If I can ever find one of those glow in the dark frisbee cup lids, it's yours. I'm sure there's one in the basement somewhere.
And dagnabit I love Emo.

Out loud, I said nothing.
But inside, I yelled "SIX! CRYSTAL BERNARD'S CHARACTER WAS A SIX!"
Couldn't remember her character name, but she's the one character I could remember from the Couch Pilots scale.
Also: Bobby's World is a huge reason I have the nickname Bobbo.

And I love his professionalism. Hearing his stories about working with the VERY young Drew Barrymore and helping Don Rickles when he hosted, I like guys like him on my team.

Oh yeah. I bring the controversy.

Plus, I could be here all night otherwise.

And great hosts, definitely Baldwin and Walken, I'd throw John Goodman and Steve Martin up there. I think Martin is the bar by which great hosts are measured. If you can make a argument that someone has been as good/natural on the show as Steve Martin has been, then they are truly a great host.

5 - Tim Kazurinsky, because I have a definite preference for performers who can write too, and I want a nerdy guy in the cast...and he's a nice ass guy too, darn it
6 - Gail Matthius, someone has to give her another chance!
7 - John Belushi, because I do need some dynamite in the cast

3 - Bill Hader, who I only put 3rd because I'm not sure who else to put from the more recent eras and I've been really impressed with him
4 - Eddie Murphy, when he was hot, he was hot
Now I'll just go for unique flavor because this is WAY too hard. Also what she said...

Man, been pondering my 7 at work, still don't have a good list. I've done a 9, not a 7. That's what she said.

I'll take a crack tho...
1 - Phil Hartman, no question
2 - Dan Aykroyd, I love Norm, but only 7? Dan gets WU and many many sleezy character roles...

The host who "pissed out" was Nick Nolte. I forget why he dropped out.

That Archive SNL collection did go away sadly.

And Gail Matthius should have been kept for season 7, dang it! Season 6 is not as bad as many say and she was excellent! What do you think was the worst season?

Definitely watched"The Best of Saturday Night"on Nick at Nite. First sketch of my era that I really remember, Linda Hamilton hosting, the Pat sketch where we almost found out if Pat was man or a woman. I was pissed.

Better plan a "Tribute to Luba Goy" episode of the pod quick.

6 months ago 1 0 1 0

Canadians gonna get on ya for not knowing Luba Goy. She's a legendary actress and comedian there. We can't have them starting a comedy tariff on us. Not in this economy!
