Lib Dems treat ALL voters with respect
Posts by Brian Wernham C.Eng.
I probed them on this and the ones I'm thinking about weren't pro Farage at all - they were considering voting for our Lib Dem candidate - but not Labour
The icing and cherry on top of a very shitty cake:
"No 10 considered Lord Doyle for diplomat job
"Doyle, the ex-communications chief, was made a peer after leaving No 10 in 2025, but was suspended from the House of Lords over links with a convicted sex offender"

The PM says the facts about Peter Mandelson’s appointment are “incredible”.
He’s right. But what’s truly shocking is just how badly he's let the country down. He promised change after years of Conservative scandals and scapegoating. Instead, he’s delivered more of the same.
"Downing Street took a “dismissive” attitude to vetting and Mandelson was given access to the Foreign Office building, low-classification IT and to “higher-classification briefings” before he was granted security clearance."

I'm criticising The Guardian which should know a lot better than this
I don't know whether this is just sloppy journalism or whether there is a deliberate pro-Green bias at The Guardian

That's right - the third largest on Birmingham Council at the moment - the Lib Dems with 13 seats versus 2 for the Greens.
Totally underreported.

Today is the last day to register to vote for the council, Senedd and Holyrood elections.
If you want to vote for a Liberal Democrat local champion who will stand up for your community, you need to be registered.🔸🗳️
Ed Davey Is the UK's most popular party leader opinion poll April 2026
Ed stands up for Britain at its best, a country where people look out for each other, where public services work, and where politics is about fixing problems not stoking division.
Nigel Farage's latest aping of Trump politics - promoting a crypto business which he himself has invested in.
MPs must be banned from promoting financial products in this way.
The big worry for me is that our membership is largely (centre-)left and a rightward drift in the name of the next tranche of seats risks alienating them.
I don’t quite know why we’re not cutting through nationally (he says, as @lisasmartmp.bsky.social is on the telly)
Concur - we are not changing here in Oxfordshire we are changing the electorate, bringing them on board and demographics help.
But, pwe are not, never will be Tories-lite and must/ will stay true to fundamentals of Liberalism
