It's a day of mixed feelings for #HongKong
Yes, the BN(O) visa scheme is expanded, which we long demanded for HK youths;
But, the Government's inaction to free political prisoners including Jimmy Lai & many others, putting trade before British Nationals - don't treat the expansion as an atonement
The lack of principles between Starmer, Badenoch and Farage are appalling.
They'll sell you out at every opportunity.
In the face of mad man Trump and challenges from China, we need principles in politics for democracy resilience to stand a chance.
Even Labour's London group disagree with Starmer's approval of the Chinese embassy.
Royal Court residents could be forced out, the City's tech cables are affected. Keir Starmer has to answer why he's selling local interests down the drain.

Mere words of concerns from the UK gov aren't enough where it comes to British citizen Jimmy Lai who's facing political imprisonment in HK.
The UK Gov needs action to end impunity on prosecution of journalists who often took the very last stand reporting from the ground - & that's important
The latest casualty stands at 128 with over a hundred more missing. And 2000 families have lost their homes. We're very attached to public housing estates. It's a successful public policy before right-to-buy was frozen years after the HK's sovereignty handover.

There're many unanswered questions. We know that fire alarms are not working and HK had some of the strictest building codes in the world.
We do feel HK authorities need to focus on a fair inquiry. Arresting voices of concern is not giving confidence to the people.
