My name is Ethan Hovermale! I’m an undergraduate researcher at Eastern Kentucky University. Right now I’m working with Crawfish, Birds, and a museum project. Hoping to do some cool geology stuff in western kentucky in the next few years.

I love when you open a collections cabinet that hasn’t been opened in a few years and are just instantly knocked off balance by whatever’s been building up in there

So is the academia experience always feeling like I should be working on something instead of sleeping?

My current major is just general concentration biology, the one I’m considering switching to is a Wildlife management degree. I like studying animals and their ecological/evolutionary relationships a lot.

Very tentatively thinking about changing my undergrad major to something a little different but still biology focused. Any scientists have advice on undergrad degrees?

Why did they have to type so much when they could have just said “our food was really boring” and called it a day?
