PDSA wins again.

Baby pigeon (actually a dove) safely caught and taken to Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue.

Discovered it has calcium deficiency, so me and my 15 yr old son and I were asking all about the standards of care.

The dove (nicknamed Leslie) happily sat on my hand as I put it in the box

This pigeon is testing my PDSA skills.

But we're planning to retest a method with pokey stick and blocking route behind it with teatowels. Previous test of this method allowed me to get my hand round it. I didn't have a tight enough grip round it & it bolted.

Lunch then try again.

Pigeon refuses to move from behind my built-in bathroom cupboards.

Nudging with various poking devices is not working (only moved it 6 inches)

Taking apart a cupboard to retrieve a pigeon is probably the most interesting job posted on check a trade today. We are getting responses, though.

People travel as it's a great conference.

My team were shocked about the win (they've never entered one before). You'll have to let me know what swung it our way as there was some competition there.

Don't congratulate the cat. Apparently, I need to try and evict the pigeon when I get home 😆
