I'm the other way around, I got symptoms of carpal tunnel with my regular tablet, and a screen tablet feels better for my body.
But this is the point! As much as possible, try to get the tool that works for YOUR body. Just because screen tablets are fancy doesn't mean they're right for you!

I feel like people forget you -can- criticize a game you absolutely love and have a blast with! It's okay if it's not 100% perfect, and it's totally fine to talk about what could be done better with it π

Tomo's fun!! I can super recommend it especially if you have OCs or are in any fandoms :3
But no artist starts out amazing, and we're all WAY more critical of our own stuff (that sadly doesn't always go away no matter how long you've drawn)
Just draw for fun! Don't worry if it's 'good' or 'bad'!
We have to find the joy in making things again, not to flex or compete, but just because we wanna see stuff! If I stopped at my first scribbled Sonic copycat OCs, I wouldn't be where I am now
Go have fun! Embrace your inner child laying on the floor and doodling with crayons!
You don't have to make the fancy 3d/photorealistic miis. Start simple! Make a little Ditto as a pet, design a drink with the soda can base, just let yourself explore and be silly!
Who knows? It could be the start of that spark that gets YOU drawing too!
