• Jasmine is a VN, and its script is almost finished
• YUKE'S is making a new engine designed for VNs
• ToHeart3 is possible, but the team doesn't want to repeat itself and needs a good idea first
Aquaplus wants to port its old games to new platforms
The company explicitly mentioned Routes and the Dungeon Travelers series as possible examples, as well as the PS3 remake of Tears to Tiara, which became a more realistic goal after Aquaplus became part of YUKE'S
I'm even more surprised they remembered Routes also glad that TTT PS3 HD is gonna happen eventually. Same goes for ToHeart 2.
Interesting that Aquaplus wants to port more of its older games to newer platforms.

VNDB founder Yorhel passed away on March 17, 2026.
He created the website in September 2007, which eventually became one of the largest visual novel databases on the internet.

While I had some minor disagreements with him on VNDB stuff, his site still brought many new fans to the medium as well as gave people major info on visual novels. Rest in peace.

I checked the PRs and the newly translated lines and some edits he has done to SamIAm's script were still kept (though a lot of his lines were also edited by someone else). Below is what is currently in the script and the replacement reads so stiff compared to SamIAm's old version.
The GitHub repo still credits the same guy for translating parts that didn't have English translations. I don't think he got anyone else to do it.
