It’s decades of the very rich angrily demanding to keep all the money for themselves, and exerting their huge political influence to make the public despise the poor. And it’s going to get worse and more cruel, since they’ve been shown over and over they will succeed.

I am so incredibly tired of him and the cretin in Moscow. Just want it to be over.

It's Europa Conference League football. And more than West Ham and Chelsea charged for the same competition.

It's a justified moan. If you use Opta's global rankings, Larnaca are 176 (two places above West Brom), AZ are 99, and KuPS are 673 (one place below Wigan). Disgraceful pricing.

Unelected Brussels bureaucrats though 😂

Come on now. Who could predict that opening up the South American market would actually mean that the biggest clubs actually just get the best players from there as well as poaching more of our academy players, instead of it being a genius scheme from Parish that no one else had ever thought about.

This is hugely problematic. The overwhelming majority in the UK reject the far right yet our views aren‘t being properly articulated in the public sphere: the papers largely support it, the BBC is a mix of supportive & supine, the government simply absent

How can voters believe government will stand up for them if it can’t even stand up for itself?

There is enough evidence of enablement of hate crimes to warrant a full Ofcom investigation into how it is using financial incentives to promote hate, harassment and real-world violence. The first responsibility of the State is to protect its people, and in 2025 that includes online.

Look, I know it means well but I really don’t think it’s a good idea to mock the appearance of some of the fash out today, nor their incoherence - not least because their process of online radicalisation is driven by both a sense of material helplessness and information overload

Out of interest, how many police officers have been attacked and injured by Palestine Action?

Will this get picked up on BBC and Sky like the BMG outlier showing them on 35% last week was. I doubt it. A

Baller. Such a shame we could only have him for that one season. Wish we could have had him back when he went on loan to Fulham. Not sure if I loved him or Gallagher more. #CPFC

It brings me no joy at all to see that it’s even dumber, more crass, more wildly reckless and more empty of thought than even I had believed it was

I know it's not going to happen but I would love a Rak-Sakyi redemption arc. He's not innocent in this but Palace have handled his development atrociously. #CPFC

Staggering how this point keeps getting missed by these "journalists".

Always him, for some reason. Even when Dougie was here it wasnt him, even though he was the Sporting Director.

Weird position to be in where the manager could walk away and I would fully support and understand him doing so. #CPFC

China-made panels drive Africa’s 15 GW solar import milestone Africa’s solar imports soared 60% to 15 GW in 2025, fueled by China, reshaping power and cutting diesel reliance.

Sierra Leone imported enough solar panels in one year to make up 65% of their entire nation's generating capacity. If you're not preparing for massive drops in fossil fuel demand, you're not paying attention.

Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

Basically Reform are pledging to rip up the biggest achievements in post-war rights protections for EVERY person in Britain.
And yes, it would dismantle the Good Friday Agreement and our trade deal with the EU, whatever Farage says.

This has been the position of about half of Britain’s national newspapers roughly since 2002, when Naomi Campbell successfully cited Article 10 in her case against Mirror Group for violating her privacy by taking pictures of her

The BBC's Plan to Appease Nigel Farage News that BBC executives plan to alter their programming in order to win over Reform voters is the latest sign of a corporation that has become dangerously cowed by the right

“I don’t remember anyone ever saying to us ‘Oh I just don't think we're properly reflecting the Green Party view, or the liberal-left view on this story’,” one former BBC journalist told me.

“It was always just slanted in one direction – which was basically the nativist, authoritarian direction.”

Apart from the chairman's heavy involvement in transfers, broken promises, and being told there's no money to spend?

Things might have worked out, but doesn't mean the patterns were never there and haven't repeated.

It’s a pretty common newsroom practice to say that protests of a few hundred (or even a few thousand) people aren’t headline news because they happen all the time. And it’s largely true.

What I can’t explain is why even Ofcom regulated TV is determined to make *these* protests news.

Just seen rumours that Forest are looking at sacking Nuno due to tensions between him and Marinakis.

Given the timeline we are all living through, I'm going to start mentally preparing for how that one might end... #CPFC

Alan Kurdi, dead on a beach

Alan Kurdi, dead on a beach

It is very nearly the tenth anniversary of that brief moment when, for 2 or 3 days, British newspapers remembered refugees are desperate human beings who need our help, rather than scum that it's okay to threaten with violence.

£30, whilst "reasonable", was IMO far too much in the context of shitty summer transfer business, deflation of not being Europa League, cost of living crisis (still), and low-level opposition. £20 or less and they might well have got more casuals and mates of ST holders/members coming.
