I dont typically read articles by security think tanks but to the extent that it is true/accurate i found this piece to be very interesting
Really love what yall have been doing here since the Antipode article; since then your perspective has been valuable to my work. Its also important to my own sentiment as a person who has never been keen with the arc of racial capitalism as a "watch word", (to use your compelling language!)

This is college now and we are self-owning ourselves with respect to any possible solutions. AI is a tech bubble but it seems a far more pertinent bubble will be the skillsets of young people in 5-10 years. The "we need to work with AI not against it" ppl will say otherwise but

A core component of my research questions the invocation of "taxpayer dollars" as a rallying point for human rights organizing.
I understand the valence. But can't something just be wrong on its face? Rather than be rearticulated as a cost that is (by design) minimized through economies of scale?
