This is partially our doing though. As many diaspora Jews realized their misalignment with the organized community, we simply walked away. Therefore, the median leader doesn't need to, and isn't trying to appeal to us, they're trying to appeal to their 6 big donors, who are also open Kahanists.

While there are certainly criticisms to be made of the diaspora pro-democracy protest movement, how it has shifted the paradigm of the israel-diaspora relationship cannot be understated.
