Imagine unironically posting this. Good lord.

Oooh I look forward to it, then!

Oh how exciting! Was it recorded in any way? 👀

I mean it depends entirely on what you want to listen to. Some apps are fucking difficult to set up RSS feeds on as well, which is one of my primary needs from a podcast app.

I've ended up using Podcast Addict and Podbean, purely because for some reason they were the only apps I could find specific podcasts on. They both have their pros and cons.

I got an IUD a number of years ago, and as soon as it was in I was in pain. Just constant low-level pain, I wonder if it was something similar. It took 6 odd months just to get an appointment to get it taken out.

I'm going to quote post this again because I still see teachers enthusing about AI. Please don't ignore the environmental damage even if you're okay with the theft of copyright. ⬇️

Not to mention the environmental impact it has. If it were ONLY being used legitimately in research and things humans can't feasibly do then I could see a use case. As it is, genAI is rapidly pushing us even closer to irreversible climate chnage all for things we 99% don't need.

A comic I drew on a takeout napkin in 2015. If you're pressed for time, it's the original One Fear comic. Boom. Done. Get on with your day. If you don't value your time, here's a description: it's a comic, right? Well here's the twist: whole thing's on a napkin. Thinest sharpie for the lines, if I recall correctly. Comic is titled "TEEN COMIX" and the first panel has a guy in sunglasses wearing a shirt that says "NO FEAR." His friend is approaching, cut off by the panel's edge. His shirt says... something. But what? Fear not, the next panel clears that right up. Second panel is zoomed in on the friend's shirt. It reads "WHAT IF THEY MADE SIMPSONS PORN ILLEGAL?" Last panel is the guy from the first panel alone now. His shirt now reads "ONE FEAR." The title is attributed to Branson '15 which should go a long way to explaining how far I expected this to spread when I drew it. It was unfathomable to me that people who didn't know me on a first name basis would see it. Little did I know that every fandom on the internet would edit it with something interminable like "The Xanadon Guild receiving a buff from Trade Legion in Era of Conquest IV." I never get them but hey, god bless. I still see those from time to time but it's really slowed down. Nowadays this is an ancient meme, frozen in place like a masturbating Pompeii victim covered in the ash of the centuries.

Happy ten years to this bad boy.

Apparently the internet is more agreed with this than I realized

To everyone at The Atlantic, at the New York Times, at the BBC, I hope you're happy. I hope you love the world you've made.

I will hate you until my last breath. You are beyond forgiveness. Scum of the earth.

Always a treat to find my favorite name: Ilī-wēdêku. His name means "my god, I am alone".

Here, Mr. My-God-I-am-alone is witness to a marriage between Sin-iqišam and Ninlil-ninam in Nippur ca. 1830 BCE.

I learnt about Lusterweibchen yesetrday, completely by chance! They're a type of chandelier made from a horizontal antler fixed with a carved wooden sculpture. Originating at the end of the 14th c, picking up popularity in the 16th c.

Today I recorded a Radio 4 show about the neuroscience of love, to be broadcast soon.

But it led to a realisation, and I think it's important. Allow me to explain.

So, to begin, why do humans fall in love? Why do our brains make us do that? The truth is complex and confusing. However...
