1. Terrifying news for transgender people across the United States. In a late night development, the House Spending Bill was amended to ban transgender coverage for transgender ADULTS on medicaid!

A manager's amendment removed the words "for minors."

This book holds such a special place in my heart. From the gorgeous nature, to the polyamorous lesbian dragons duelling each other, to the falling stars that threaten life, to the lazy mornings spent fishing at a river bend. There is darkness. And there is so, so much hope.

I absolutely agree, that it is misogynistic. I do want to make that clear. But yeah I’ve heard other Canadians use it, and I always get in their faces about “Well in Australia..” we’re not in Australia. I don’t like it regardless of who uses it but it is different if they are from a culture who uses

I just want to add even more egregious is that a lot of Australians don’t use it that often. My girlfriend, her family and friends, and I’ve heard it like once or twice and neither was as an insult. Some people really just want to say awful words, and/or use slurs.
