I would be so upset if I broke mine as well. π₯²

I would LOVE if they did another collab like this.
Piece of African Blackwood about 1x1x6 inches. The ends are capped in wax. Sitting on a leather journal cover.
Bought some African Blackwood just to say I have a piece of one of the most expensive woods in the world, lmao.
Not sure what I'll do with it. Might polish it up and leave it as is.
Me too. π₯² they were so dang pretty.
I only managed to get the bell cup at the time, but I would loooove a full set, especially because they partnered with KwangJuYo, a Korean ceramics company, and introduced Korean ceramic artistry to people who might not otherwise have been introduced to it.
My photo shows a Hellenistic era hemispherical mosaic glass bowl viewed from above. The glass has a floral pattern made up of tiny, many-petalled blue, white, and yellowy-green flowers against a dark purple background (looks black in my photo). The bowl has an alternating diagonal-striped black and white glass rim. The bowl has been reconstructed from fragments and the plain light blue areas are where missing glass fragments have been replaced during reconstruction. It measures 13.2 cm in diameter and 7.5 cm in height. It was made in the eastern Mediterranean about 200-100 BC.
This Hellenistic mosaic glass bowl looks so modern, yet it was made over 2,000 years ago!
Ancient glassmakers created the tiny flower pattern using a technique now known as βmillefioriβ (thousand flowers). A timeless design still made by glassmakers today!

Absolutely incredible.
NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.
Watch with sound on.
Good morning from my beloved little pond. I cultivate it specifically for insects, which benefits everything. It's full of newts, freshwater shellfish, & all sorts of creatures.
I exclusively grow native plants in it & in summer it's surrounded by butterflies and dragonflies!
(Sound on for birds)

So nice to see critters again!
I really enjoyed seeing these Wood Frogs and Spring Peepers today! πΈ
Thank youuu. π₯Ή i love how it turned out.
Annoyed how much Youtube sucks nowadays.
The recommended videos never show anything new and the search is terrible for actually finding what you're looking for. :(
Incredible satellite imagery of the tornado outbreak underway across the central United States.
Small tan mushroom
Just a few more mushrooms, hereβs a very small one maybe 12 mm growing on a log with some nearby moss. I really like these tiny ones.
A Kokedama pineapple, which is a pineapple plant top in a moss covered base such that it resembles a real pineapple.
It might be time to shut it down. I may have taken the medium to its natural conclusion.
I present to you Kokedama Pineapple!
A hand holding a red, orange yellow, white mushrokm carved from wood and painted. The background is a wood desk with another out of focus mushrooms wood sculpture in the background.
Mushroom I carved from wood and painted, based vaguely on a Frost's Bolete mushroom.
Looks more red irl, but I think it turned out neat, especially the texturing on the stem.
A broken piece of picture frame glass on a wood table. It's broken in half with dried paint on it. Two painted mushroom art pieces are sitting on the top, half out of the picture.
Broke the picture frame glass I'd been using as a paint palette today. π₯²
Gonna have to see if I can find a replacement because I loved this thing. It's so easy to scrape the acrylic paint off when I'm done.
A small hollow in the flat top of a stone wall contains a tiny colony of moss (bryophyte), now wet after rain. From the green base, slender red stalks (setae) rise, each carrying an elongated capsule (sporophyte). Clear raindrops cling to the capsules and stalks, some forming large teardrop shapes that partially envelop the capsules, magnifying their deep red colour inside. The colony sits in a shallow depression surrounded by rough, pale stone, only a few centimetres across. The droplets catch the light and appear bright and glass-like, giving the small group of capsules a jewel-like appearance.
Yesterday's oasis in the top of the wall caught some precious raindrops.
Devon today.

Bog covered in bog laurel (pink),
cotton grass (white) and other small plants.
Close up photo of a cluster of small, pink flowers that look like tiny parasols. The flower buds look like pink versions of chocolate rosebuds.
Bog Laurel, a relative of Sheep Laurel (recent post) and Mountain Laurel. An iconic early summer wildflower of Newfoundlandβs ubiquitous bogs.

Feeling real conflicted as a former Catholic tonight. π
I also got samples of Supergoop! and Innisfree, so we'll see which I like better.
Oops, got the wrong ISDIN sunscreen.
Got the Fusion Water Magic, instead of the Eryfotona Actinic.
I think the second one was the one recommended to me by twt moots a long time ago. Finally getting around to trying the brand tho.
But man, nearly $40 for such a small bottle. π₯²
sure didn't expect to see this on JP news.
A bit of second growth woodland. The floor is covered with trillium, the flowers ranging from white to shades of pink, and a few sword ferns. Fallen branches are covered in moss. Thin sunlight filters through the bare trees.
My favorite stand of trillium, about a 15 minute walk from where I live. Bright yellow violets grow nearby.
you guys look at this coral fungus π³
Ohhh, maybe I should go back for it then, if they're still there. π«£
Sounds like it would be interesting to see what it does in a terrarium.
I like the way they almost glow in the sun.
