At some point last year, I heard the very clear and obvious music of an ice cream truck in my neighborhood. I ran like a child to get cash, so I could buy an ugly Sonic the Hedgehog ice cream bar. But when I went out to look, it was gone. Nowhere to be found.

So I busted out my OLED Switch, and because I have some of my own "Virtual Game Cards" loaded on my broken Switch 2, I can't load them on my OLED Switch because it's asking me to bring my Switch 2 close to the OLED and well, my Switch 2 doesn't work so this is fun. 😔

Congrats to the team at @iridiumstudios.bsky.social. This is a game that has been in Jason's head for years and a true labor of love. Been a lot of fun working with them on this, even though all of the game's musical numbers are stuck in my head on loop now. 🎶

My Switch 2 has stopped working and it's too close to the release of Tomadachi Life for me to be dealing with this.

I liked it! I went in a blind, so there were some twists/turns I wasn't expecting that I really liked. Even when it felt "oh yeah, of course" obvious, I think it was still handled quite well and with good style and tension building. Camila Morrone is great and totally smashed the part.

Technically one of these was an 8 episode one-off series, so like... an eight hour movie?

Related, Haley Z Boston is super great work and one to keep watching. Brand New Cherry Flavor was also wild and I loved it. Can't wait to see what she does next.
