Hoping to finalize the color palette to be used soon. Here's a test with one I was particularly happy with. It matches the dark fantasy theme quite well and has made me rethink the art direction somewhat.

Hi! Very sorry about the lack of activity, work is still ongoing but a break was taken until our programmer was able to get back on track. There's also been a lack of art due to a focus on writing, the coming months should see more artistic activity and game updates though!

Looking at finalizing the enemy sprites. Here I've redone the undead enemy more detailed while also looking at moving to a simpler color palette for the game to make room for the detailed designs.

I might be misunderstanding but wouldn’t something like RenPy be best for this? I found it quite easy to learn without any prior programming experience. Things get difficult once you want to start to incorporate more complex concepts like inventory or battle systems

Since Gyaru fashion is so varied I'll probably be going through several variations before finding something we like. I'd say this is a good first design. I'm seeing lots of points for improvement though.

Neon Witch is a sparkly, high octane, spell based RPG heavily influenced by the likes of World of Warcraft, Paper Mario, modern roguelikes and classic Newgrounds flash games.
