Everyone will become disabled at some point in their life, either temporarily or permanently. Disability rights are human rights.

Tens and hundreds of thousands of Georgians don’t sleep for almost two weeks, stay out in cold, often get immersed in water cannons and gas under cold, then go to work every day to get the little income they have, and then again to the rallies.
It’s a lot of personal sacrifice.

Shining a light on injustices and brutality is crucial in the fight for democracy. Consider donating to the brave media outlets in #Georgia! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί

It's getting boiling hot in Georgia. As Titushky (regime thugs) beat people and the patrol police ignores the citizens, people began arguing with the patrol police to hand over weapons to them if they cannot defend the citizens themselves. #terrorinGeorgia #GeorgiaProtests

Accessibility tip: capitalise each word in your hashtags, #LikeThis! This helps visually impaired users, whose assistive technologies will be better able to announce the hashtags as distinct words. And it helps with readability for sighted users, too! #AccessibilityTips #MakeTheWorldAccessible

"It limits my creativity" is a pure BS excuse. But I think most designers don't even know about accessible design -- that was me when I first started out! I'm still appalled that my UI design courses didn't even mention accessibility aside from colour contrast (and that just in passing).

Most developers I know who ignore accessibility do so because 1. they don't know much about it (if at all), or 2. it seems overwhelming. I see both of these as education issues. Why do design and development courses tend to ignore accessibility?
