Good news: The first conviction under this law was just secured of an Ohio man who victimized multiple people with his creation of pornographic deepfakes online.
Last year, we passed my major bipartisan legislation with Sen. Ted Cruz to take on the brutal sharing of nonconsensual sexual images, real or deepfake. Tragically, a number of kids committed suicide over the sharing of these.
