I’m happy to share that I’ve completed the video course 📺 "PostgreSQL Mistakes and How to Avoid Them", which lasts 6 hours and 4 minutes. 📚 by Jimmy Angelakos published by Manning Publications Co. and available on O'Reilly platform. ✨ A huge thank you to the author for such an insightful resource! I thoroughly enjoyed the 11 chapters 📖. This is an excellent book that provides numerous examples and I learned how to avoid and diagnose database configuration and operation issues, fix a poorly designed database, and maximize PostgreSQL performance. It also includes causes of errors with associated code examples for the psycopg (Python DB API). In particular, the resources in Appendix A, Appendix B, and the GitHub repository (https://lnkd.in/g-VafvfH) are extremely helpful for creating the Frogge Emporium database from scratch. Additionally, the author also provided a lot of dynamic customer test data dumps to help explore the various examples presented in the textbook. (Note: The image also contains a screenshot at the bottom showing the O'Reilly "Your History" page with the course "PostgreSQL Mistakes and How to Avoid Them, Video Edition" marked as 100% Progress).
