I grew up in Plymouth … which had its centre rebuilt by Abercrombie after WW2 destruction.

Right to highlight that … should be “a” not “an”!

If not already done then try installing Material Skin plugin - then access LMS web with /material at end of url

The old technology has survived really well. Boom sounds even better but screen probably faded if heavily used by previous owner (but watch out for deteriorating speaker surround)

The en-dash was in Thai track called Javelin. Added em-dash just in case.

I changed to —?

Double minus sign between artist and title broke my parsing. Should I adapt or was it a very rare occurrence and will be changed if played again?

US anti-abortion group expands campaign in UK Exclusive: Alliance Defending Freedom, which is funding case of activist Livia Tossici-Bolt, is lobbying against buffer zones around clinics

Felt like news to me.
I heard the interview on R4 Today and that was the basis of the article

How about this one

or this one

Presumably that is what they said in court. Guardian has not expressed any support either way in the article and includes quote from clinic. Isn’t it simply reporting the news?

I've done my Goldfinger essay as an alphabet (because EVERYONE loved the Die Hard alphabet). It's honestly quite hard to come up with 26 different sections but I have managed 21. So sue me. bit.ly/4ht78jO

My week with a man bag: am I cool enough for winter’s hottest trend? Timothée Chalamet, Pharrell Williams and Jacob Elordi have no qualms about using one. But can our writer carry it off?

For the record I would like to state that I know you're not supposed to wear them around your neck like a feed bag.
But I am eerily compliant in the company of photographers.

Have just gone through the process of importing followed users from elsewhere to here. Was surprised by the number of accounts here that had zero posts … however, I assume they did the same as me and created an account to preserve the name while waiting to see who wins.

If you use LMS (Lyrion Music Server - ex Logitech Media Server) and have recently been having problems with the YouTube plugin then … good news. Someone has worked on a patch that restores things after changes at YouTube. Expect a software update in coming days or you find the patch at Lyrion forum.

Good to see this appear. First unattended automatic post to Bluesky from @dandelionradio.bsky.social - was about a day of coding and testing. Getting the link to work was fiddly compared to doing the same in Twitter years ago.

Just noticed that @radiofrance.fr has been adjusting their live song data again. It is a pain to have to keep adjusting things and now it is worse … artist and title combined into a single field and album name dropped. Just checked my code and this is their 10th variant.

Ah - that explains why some things were not working this morning …

and we are back - to much relief. Next step is to work out which update did the damage. Have paused updates for a week … hopefully I can find it by then or they will have silently fixed it for next update.

Currently having a frustrating time trying to get primary back back to life - Windows says boot media inaccessible but going into recovery mode shows it is very accessible! A better error message would be useful. Currently uninstalling Microsoft “latest quality update”
