A good way to understand something better is to go broader. To help students see that everything inside the computer is stored as a number, rather than just looking at text, images and sound, why not include other things such as programs, dates and times?

I listened to a few minutes of Biden's talk at Jesse Jackson's memorial service. I've never been much of a Biden fan to be honest. But compared to Trump, he is an amazing speaker.
