I gotta brag a little bit. Moving from fuckin’ NC to Los Angeles opened up a world of concert opportunities for me. Tomorrow I’m seeing She Wants Revenge, and I just got tickets for David Byrne at the Hollywood Bowl in August!

I did! (I’m a graphic designer.)
I’m seeing a lot of talk lately about inventory control in TTRPGs, so I thought I’d share the inventory sheet I made for my home game again. I’m pretty proud of it. (Artwork ganked from somewhere via Google Image Search.)
(So late to this game…)
“I like to think I’m the second best at what I do, so I’ll try harder next time. And, bub, you’re the next time.”
Here’s the personalized flyer that was sent out for my upcoming group show at the La Luz de Jesus gallery in Hollywood next month. I’m pretty excited about this!
Old ad for New Jersey Bell. A smiling woman holds the phone receiver to her head with one hand while pushing buttons on a wall phone base with the other. The cation reads “reach out and touch someone.”
A colour drawing of a red & green dragon fruit with a furry brown fruit bat with leathery black wings hanging beneath it.

Hey! It’s International Bat Appreciation Day! Get out there and … appreciate some bats. Tell ‘em Vince sent you!
Did anyone else have all their notifications show up as “new” this morning, or was it just me?
I feel like the Mausritter rpg really missed an opportunity by not referring to the person who runs the game as the "Game Mouster."
Absolutely bonkers tale!
The group’s NPC is talked to for the first time and reveals his tragic back story; the paladin rides a giant snake; lizardmen teach bulette fishing; the ranger’s player rolls three 20s in a row (two at once!); and we’re NOT gonna need a bigger boat! …on this session of Into the Sunken Lands!
Very much same. It seemed like forever before I owned a copy of my own.
Post an image of a game you played as a teenager:
I loved Crossbows & Catapults so much, I got 2 huge sheets of foamboard and made a game board to play it on, with terrain marked on it that would affect play.
Very young me bought a Fantastic Four comic in the mid-60s while visiting my mother in the hospital. It was mid-story arc, and I was confused but soon learned the local diner had spinner racks with older issues.
Saw it in a small town theater when I was super-young.
It ran as an ABC Sunday Night Movie and, hilariously, the announcer had to say the movie’s title as they were coming out of commercial break (as was the custom at the time). “We now return to Sssssss.”
Remember when we were doing these during the Covid Times?
I can’t think of a single thing!
Rescheduled game happens tomorrow! Bulette hunting with the desert lizardmen! Surely nothing bad will happen, and a good time will be had by all.
I don’t mean to sound conspiratorial, but I’m finding it increasingly weird that, with all the hundreds of videos of the Artemis astronauts being retrieved, that I can’t find a single video of the capsule itself being recovered. I just wanted to watch!
There’s an artist, whose work I love and promote and have bought several of, in various forms, but every time I’ve interacted with him, he’s been kind of a dick. I don’t know…
The beta is kind of a… kiln opening?
Oh my! Happy day-after-your-birthday! Take an extra one, on me. 🎈
I’m biased, but I think superhero games need to be granular. How far do I punch somebody? How tough do I get when I grow to 20’? How much damage do I do if I martial kick that guy right in the head? How far can I push my strength? Yeah, it’s rulesy, but nobody does this as well as Champions.

A digital illustration of a young girl, 10 or 11, with short, dark hair with bangs and wearing an old fashioned dress with long sleeves and a large amulet around her neck. She’s floating in space, arms out and palms up, toes pointed down, and looking upward with a neutral expression. She is being lit sharply from below with green light and her eyes are glowing. Arrayed around her in space are several writhing, branching tentacles reaching upward. Behind all this is a dark purple fog surrounding a central glow mostly obscured behind the girl’s dress. Below her is a black miasma that the tentacles are emerging from. The blackness also surrounds glowing green writing in an eldritch, chthonic writing which reads (you just have to trust me on this), ‘Maybe it will happen today’.
