I’m not sure that’s true. If I contemplate writing a novel, I can happily write characters and scenes and world building without being sure where it’s going and how it will all fit together. If I imagine writing a short story, I need to know what I am trying to do, or there’s nothing to write.

Be clear: This is not about trans people. It’s about anybody who does not sufficiently and clearly fit into the M or F gender molds visually. It’s just another piece of the broad effort to force everyone to “normal” by some podcaster’s definition.

It would somehow be a perfect capstone to this era if he got the damn thing built, and it swiftly developed cracks and tilts and had to be demolished.
