I want 2 things from my politicians: I want them to tell the truth, even and especially when the truth is inconvenient, like naming an atrocity, and I want them to be dreaming of a better world than this. This dude does both.

Those who support “regime change” because it will “help women” should remember how much Afghanistan women were “helped” by our war there. They don’t do regime changes for women. They do regime changes for oil, money, and power.

How do we fix narratives around socialism? More open socialists and communists organizing and running. That’s literally it. No amount of rebranding will fix this. We have to change peoples minds about socialism being evil. And it’s working. Capitalism is also radicalizing people against itself.
