The President and his Administration have already failed twice in court trying to intimidate me, and he's still not letting up. Just more proof that he'll do anything it takes to silence those of us willing to call him out. I'm not backing down — ever.

Yes, of course. The UN charter also permits self defense.

The UN charter has a good, universal definition: The Organization is based on the principle of the sovereign equality of all its Members.

A budget is a declaration of priorities. Trump has made clear that you and your family aren't one of his.

“Jesus told us, ‘Blessed are the peacemakers,’ but woe to those who manipulate religion in the very name of God for their own military, economic, or political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth.” — Pope Leo XIV today in Cameroon

Going to war against Iran is not domestic politics. Abortion is.

Look at the next skeet. If you take all the AIPAC shell orgs together they spent half again as much against Biss. He was AIPAC's target. He beat them.

What about Biss? AIPAC's playbook against him was straightforward, they worked hardest to defeat him.

Here in North Carolina and around the country, gas prices are too high. This is a direct result of Donald Trump's war of choice in Iran, and the American people are paying the price.

Catholics were roughly split, 50/50 in 2020. Abortion is less salient for conservative Catholics after Dobbs. Immigration, poverty, war & religious freedom are more salient under Trump. A Catholic shift to Democrats would be a disaster for the GOP. Trump, Vance & Johnson chose to attack the Church.

Mike Johnson persistently bears false witness. Pope Leo said "those who wage war."

BREAKING: The U.S. bishops’ Committee on Doctrine just issued a formal statement defending Pope Leo XIV's teaching authority on just war doctrine — less than twelve hours after JD Vance told a Turning Point USA crowd the pope should “be careful” talking theology.

This is a serious escalation.

I should disentangle the sentiment question from the 2024 election. The drop in D turnout in 2024 was among less engaged, low income voters. High income didn't shift as much. Sentiment questions have a slippery relation to votes. The hard/soft econ data gap remains a mystery.

I frankly don't see this administration being capable of doing real diplomacy.

You don't just show up, talk for a few hours, and expect real results.

The end of Viktor Orbán’s autocratic regime is a victory not just for Hungary, but for people who value democracy around the world. Congratulations to Tisza, to incoming leader Péter Magyar, and to Hungarians everywhere.
