At times, Caleb Wilson looks like he can barely contain his excitement to play defense.

All of these draft previews are intended to have topical focus areas as I continue to bounce around between the projected top-4 prospects.
Here's a link to my full collection of musings, on Peterson, Boozer, and Dybantsa:

Hey guys, myself & @samsonfolk.bsky.social reunited for a 2025-26 Pacers Exit Survey + playoff talk
- who improved?
- indicators for which players can scale up/down
- PG/C hierarchy
- are the Pacers still contenders?
Do teams get "tricky" in the playoffs? www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqNo...

Draft time
That’s a wrap on the 2025-26 Pacers. Thanks to everyone who followed along, and stayed engaged through such a hellacious season. Hopefully there were some wins for you as readers in the development of the team and via my coverage. May the odds forever be in all of our favor.
You’ll for sure see it. Have fun!
I wrote about Obi Toppin returning from injury to top off a season of injuries while also (quietly) topping off certain aspects of his game.
As in - I don't know what's gotten into him, but he looks like he could have a second act as a handball star

Crowning this the NBA's trendiest action sequence this season: down-flip-flare. Call from the Pacers is "touch." Exemplifies the PASS > DRIBBLE revival.
Also shows why, even when MIN, IND, CHA, TOR, UTA, & countless other teams run the same play, they don't all play the same.
In view of next season, this is my fav type of Obi possession: goes from cutting off an exit screen & shaking up along the arc to dribbling out of a hand-off, kicking to the perimeter & screening for the ball
Gets logged as nothing, but he does a lot of something

Due to all the absences -- Toppin is posting more frequently than ever while also averaging 8.9 potential assists per 100 possessions, compared to 5.5 for his career.
On the player who does a lot (and is starting to do more) while rarely doing too much:

UConn just hit a big three out of the pindown followed by a pindown action — that the Pacers also run.
Sharing the link to my collection of pre-draft musings: Can the Pacers play fast with Cam Boozer? Would they contend with what made them a contender for Darryn Peterson? Also, on the differences between how Boozer and A.J. Dybantsa operate out of the same play.

Wrote about some easter eggs to watch for during the NCAA Tournament Final, as far as some actions that the Pacers have in common with UConn and what that could mean for next season.

Wish i could make this a t shirt
And stars are still out for marquee games anyway! Because the season is too long and injuries are a thing that happens
If the award voters can be trusted to use their discretion when weighing and assessing the value of ability, seems like they should also be able to be trusted to use their discretion when weighing and assessing the far simpler value of availability.
The Pacers attempted 17 corner threes against the Heat, marking a season high. Potter had a hand in eight, whether passing or shooting.

Why yes, I did write an entire article about different ways that various role players have gotten on a roll for the Pacers during a development season.

Andrew Nembhard has averaged 20.8 potential assists per 100 possessions since the start of January, compared to 22.7 for Haliburton last season
With more opportunity to see what he sees, I wrote what I learned (in just a few seconds) about his vision:

Earlier this month, I answered a question about why the Pacers kept running the same play for Nesmith against SAC.
Since then, he's shot 58% on movement 3s - which is the best mark in the league, min. 20 3PA.
